if your running 93, Id go for the bigger turbo. expecially if lag doesnt bother you.

Well in all honesty I can say that because i haven't been in any other cars that are faster then mine. I put 430ish on the BBK full but most of the guys around me are going stock turbo. We had some monster Evo's but they either sold, moved or dont bring their cars out.

I think I need to ride in cars that have this turbo to help me decide what to do.

I posted this on another thread but would ETS's new twin external wastegate manifold help with boost holding up top and allow the FP Black to act like a bigger garrett?

from what many say, the twinscroll helps in transient boost response between shifts. Hit the gas and what you need happens now between shifts better.

also, numbers are confusing. the black may put out a lot ofpower, but the way the big turbos hit is different. It cant be explained on a forum. GO for a ride in a black, then in a 3586 or 6262 and seewhat i mean. YOu may like the black or hate it. U may love the surprise sledgehammer hit of the 3586 or you may find it annoying

Yes it will! It will keep the stock TS design but allow the wastgate gases to exit pre turbine wheel, helping to reduce turbine backpressure. I would really like to test the manifold on my car. I'm not to sure how much peak it will be worth but it will pick the topend up a good bit. I would expect on my car something like 30-40hp increase above 7.5k. However, nothing is for sure since it has not been tested yet.

Yeah I saw you offer. Hopefully ETS takes you up on this. Its looks pretty and everything and I wouldn't mind spending the money for it if it did the job.

HP goal wise anything 600 and up is fine with me. I just want the grin factor and viper/C6 Z06 eating ability.

lol i would hope you go black lol beside you got a mona already . I was kicking the ideal around with mikey of making a mona version 2..0 with the wastegate ideal as well. Priced accordingly. I might just do it just to do it after the fact going to see how things turn out and if so me and jesse will kick rocks and make like 3 prototypes. Mikey send me some funds so i can make one for you to test lol My whole issue with that is it kills the whole Look im stock pop the hood look. They see twingates and they are assuming 600 already from jump street.

God i love this place too the hype of bigger is required to make good power numbers. There is more to a car then top in and a high number. Me put a 6262 on and what enjoy my laggy turbo. Ill pass on that. if all i did was drag period then it would be a option but planning on doing more then that.

yo rockmanX, everybody including Mikey are switching to 3586 or 6262 , you are the only one with fpblack . Think carefully before bolt up that fpblack dude. BTW, heard fp are coming out with another turbo in a few months. It's like 40whp over the fpblack. I think the name are fpcarbon or fpblue. LOL

The 6262 is only laggy if the driver is in the wrong gear. Other than that the response of the turbo is very predictable.

not all cars with fpblack will run 9s or 10s. You be lucky if u in the 11s rock.
