Exedy triple HR pedal adjustment questions...

I need some input from guys who are running the triple if possible or those that are very familiar with it. Note at the same time a rebuilt trans was put in, already have shifter bushings and stainless clutch line (both pieces). This was a used triple with 20k on it that was an SR and I replaced the cover, flywheel, all three disks so only reused the intermediate plates, pressure plate, and pivot ring.

I just had my Exedy triple HR put in about a week ago and have now put 700 miles or so. I have my pedal adjusted at the highest point for engagement due to my old clutch being an ACT to help with lock-out issues I had. I assumed engagement would remain the same for the Exedy. When it went in the line was bled because my slave cylinder had to be opened to retract the rod and air got in the line. We figured something may be wrong with the slave cylinder but opening it seemed to work just fine. Initially we had pedal pressure just fine after bleeding but it wouldn't go into any gear at my "normal" engagement spot so we figured ****, something was wrong however when the pedal went to 3/4 it engaged just fine. We figured the disks needed to be broken in but now at 700 miles I'm not so sure, perhaps something else is wrong?

Could a failing slave cylinder cause engagement issues?

Will it loosen up the longer it's in? I've never had a clutch with this many plates.

As of right now the rod to the pedal for adjustment is two threads into the pedal itself.

Thanks guys!

will the car go into gear at all?
what you should do is start with is all the way out or in and make very little adjustment if necessary. and if your car is not going into gear you should take the trans off because one of the discs were prolly put in backwards i know i did it. good luck with it, you will like the clutch it is very nice and has excellent drivability.

Yes it goes into gear, I wrote that I had put 700 miles on it already. The adjustment does make a difference as stated, but the point of engagement seems low for it being adjusted all the way out.
