the one thing that would be very cool of you guys at boost solutions to do when you swap out the rods and pistons for the beefier ones, would you be able to take side-by-side pictures of the rods... I really want to know how much thicker the new ones will be. Also, do you know any way of testing a turbo's cfm rating somehow, I'de like to know what the evo8 16g's actual flow rating is... cause no one has given me a precise number... thanx... good shiet on the turbo man... can't wait to see what that beast can do...

That is the correct one.
The t67 and 25g are basically the same thing under different naming systems. That's what I've always read.

Good luck in your project Boost Solutions!

Im so tired of readin about all the bashing going on. But there are just some people out there that LOVE to be negative, and LOVE to nit pick at all the details.

When I first went to BS's website, and saw your project EVO, with some specs of the turbo, etc, and the "1000 ps" printed there, I, myself interpreted as the fact that the turbo is rated up to around 1000 ps, just like other turbos are rated to put out around a certain number of HP.

I like that fact that there are tuners, and EVO owners experimenting, and trying different things. As an EVO owner myself, it is great to see diversity with the direction different EVOs take.

We should all be happy that you are trying something not as common. But as I said, some people love to be negative, and talk ****.

I hope that you reach all your goals for this car to prove all those people who are bashing you wrong... I commend you for trying to be different, hell if i had the time and money for this crazy project i think i would try it too.. People shouldn't care what you do with your car because it's your car, time, and your money..

Once again good luck!

No you don't. I've replaced my cams twice without removing the timing belt.

Piece of cake.

People do a intake and a intercooler. Or put **** gas in there car to save a dime, or do 5,000 in sway bars and don't know what is was like before that, or install a BOV, or put a ****ty HKS "Hot air intake" on there car. I call it like I see it, BS Solutions is going to charge me $400 to do cams that's a rip. Hell and they have NEVER done them on a evo before and said you can not use the tool that mitsu sells. Why do they sell it then? People said I would never own a computer company and make money in the stock market as well Also AL you are the one pushing this Dynoflash **** and weak people love someone like you to ram it down there throat. You say it's good and people that do not know how to think for themselves jump on board. And the funny thing is evo people may hate me in Atlanta, But they hate your *** EVERYWHERE.
I beg to differ with you - I met a lot of the Evo owners from Atlanta this weekend - and they are super great guys and they have some great meets up on Barett near the Starbucks on the weekends

As far as they dyno flash - I offered it to you to test it out free of charge so you could draw you won conclusions - but I guess you had better things to do. UNLESS you actually test somthing out yourself and see how it works yourself - I really thing you are not in a position to comment.

After you finish your master Evo - lets see what kind of numbers you make on the dyno and track and then talk about how much you know.

Hi Al,

I am gla dyou like the car scene here
About Ryan, it is all good, you know you cannot make EVERYBODY happy. We are trying though...

Ryan:
Al did not get invited here because they hate him
He did a great job on teh Evos here. HKS hot air intakes? Even if hot air, they make the most power. You go and prove the Japanese tuners wrong. Or put you cold air intake, drive in the rain, and that will be the end of the silver Evo8.
I am not going to respond to your posts again, we have better things to do here at the shop.
Just being curoius, did you install teh Motec yourself, or Balanced did? Is that why you sold the NSX?

George
