Dude, 2.2bar is like 32psi. It took you an additional 10+ psi to raise 100hp? o__O

Very nice and scary looking engine bay Boost solution. I just hate it when people knock projects like these down. I have dealt with boost solution before and they were great. I just hope u get this car up and running with great numbers George.

Al knows what he is doing, I don't know the Boost Solutions guys but I'll try to get by their shop one day. The other EVO guys I've met around Atlanta are pretty cool. Everybody has their own way to do things and everybody has his preferences. I saw one car with mods you are ridiculing and that car is very fast.
It's good you don't give a **** about what anybody thinks because the way you are going about it, people are gonna think pretty badly about you. By the way, you just got thru slamming just about everybody you met in Atlanta, for your information, some of these guys actually try excuse your terrible on-line behavior. We noticed that in person you don't get in peoples faces and talk all this crap. Maybe you should consider behaving like that in these forums, it would help your image a lot.

I really don't give a **** what others think, never have and never will. and most of the evo owners in Atlanta have there head up there *** and do the dumbest mods ever, but whatever. People do a intake and a intercooler. Or put **** gas in there car to save a dime, or do 5,000 in sway bars and don't know what is was like before that, or install a BOV, or put a ****ty HKS "Hot air intake" on there car. I call it like I see it, BS Solutions is going to charge me $400 to do cams that's a rip. Hell and they have NEVER done them on a evo before and said you can not use the tool that mitsu sells. Why do they sell it then? People said I would never own a computer company and make money in the stock market as well Also AL you are the one pushing this Dynoflash **** and weak people love someone like you to ram it down there throat. You say it's good and people that do not know how to think for themselves jump on board. And the funny thing is evo people may hate me in Atlanta, But they hate your *** EVERYWHERE.

He did a great job on teh Evos here. HKS hot air intakes? Even if hot air, they make the most power.

Hey George, great big turbo you got there! I hope it works out as you plan it.......

You go and prove the Japanese tuners wrong. Or put you cold air intake, drive in the rain, and that will be the end of the silver Evo8.
I am not going to respond to your posts again, we have better things to do here at the shop.
Just being curoius, did you install teh Motec yourself, or Balanced did? Is that why you sold the NSX?

George
You might be mistaking my car for Ryan's... I'm silverEVO8 and the Motec you see there is Al's that he used for tuning the car. I have no problems with people's intakes either (hot or cold)
BTW, you contacted me a long time ago about doing some mods, etc. But I never heard from you guys again. I think that was before you moved to your new place.... Are you planning on getting a dyno one of these days? That would be very nice...
Again, good luck with your car, Al was very complimentary of you guys....

Actually, since I played with the timing map a bit, the car strats spooling at 3000-3500,a nd hits good at 5200-5500. I mean, hits giid with 17 psi. An dthat is not teh same 17 psi as the stock turbo

A friend of mine in Japan just saw a Supra Dyno with the smaller T51R ( the KAi- 800hp rating), at 712rwhp at 18 psi. The car had HKS 272 cams, Greddy 720cc, and HKS V Pro.

How many psi is that?
SPL non BB (if I remember from the last thread you posted, plus the purple tags on the turbo) will not get efficient until 30+ psi......

George - don't get me wrong, I hope that you make you goals, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. A couple of things to think about -

The difference between the KAI and SPL (BB or non-BB) is huge, not a good comparison at all. The KAI is an effective big single for street use, the SPL is basically worthless on the street - it is just too big and thats on a 6 cylinder with another 1.0 liter displacement.

Comparing the Supra to the Evo is again (IMO) a bad comparison - again you are comparing a huge difference in displacement that is vital to the spooling of the turbo.

If you are really going for this, you would be served much better by taking the non-BB out now and getting the BB version. It will spool quicker (obviously) which will be better suited to the smaller 2.0L displacement.

I have setup the non-BB on a stroked 2.73L motor to 10,000 rpms and it now sits under the hood of the fastest GTR in the US. Scott was launching at 9,500 rpm's jut to keep any boost without losing his launch completely.
