i use the Turbo XS RFL which is similar to the 34. no issues & holds boost well. since i didn't have the evo kit (salvaged from my turbo talon) so i used a 1 1/4" PVC endcap to cover the hole on the intake tube.

I heard that some company did a BOV test and Tial's BOV held the best boost and performed better overall compared to the other brands of BOV. I say go with the Tial because of that but I am not sure how the sound is.... Not that it matters anyway! I currently have an HKS SSQV and I love the unique sound of it. Anyhow, I plan on switching to a Tial later down the road.

i had a greddy type-s/ loved it sounded great hold boost pretty good. But once i got the hks intercooler with upper piping i had to get the hks. I was very sceptical on how it was going to sound i didn't want that high pitched sound, i didn;t like it at all, but the first time i drove it, man i fell in love with it. Its not that high pitched sound its weird its like three sounds in one. It does have some of that high pitch, but also air, and another sound that i have never heard before. By the way its the ssq type 2, no nut in the back.

I had it on my WRX, then I put it on my EVO but did not last too long because it is so anoying, extremelly loud on my opinion, it starts making sound at 1psi(basicly anytime you floor the gas pedal).

Mine is for sale, PM me.
