The JUN evo holds the most track records out of any evo... I also think it would destroy the HKS evo I like JUN because they are supposed to be of higher qualitly... although I've never used either so my opinion means nothing

Hey Al,

All your cars are heavily modded though compared to most of us. Would you recommend 264 JUN cams with the stock turbo and valvetrain?

I was under the impression the JUN cams would not be streetable due to their higher lifts - you'd need to beefen up the drivetrain first.

But I could be wrong for all I know.

IMO i prefer HKS , they make reliable power for a daily driven .
I have seen jun cams for other applications snap on 5 pieces . Just the fact , the cams snap doesn't make me want to run that type of chance for a few xtra hp . They do make nice gains , but not worth it. I wonder how Toda will compare went they come out with cams for the Evo

I too have seen about 3 sets of JUN cams snap. I also will not be running them because of that reason.

Oh guys stop with the Jun cams snapping. I've seen the posts on Honda-tech and other forums and the causes for those failures could have been anything. Could have been improper installation, improper tuning, timing etc... The causes were unknown BUT the outcome was the same in all situations, JUN USA warrentied there stuff. They paid for the cams and sent them new ones even though the problems could have been caused by something else.

JUN's customer service has always been top notch and thats more than I can say for HKS. I've heard that HKS will alway try and swindle out of a warrenty issue (why aren't they backing up there products?). For god sake AL almost died and he doesn't think they will warrenty the manifold, WTF is that. I'd rather deal with JUN than *******s like that.

For me I wanna try the Tomei poncam cuz thats what xtreme tuning aka Ralliart uses on there cars SO they must be somewhat good right? Well when I put them and Buschurs turbo in I'll tell you the results.
