Def keep us posted on if the front mount helps eliminate the lock out.

I think my clutch has started to slip (ACT HDSS with over 50k) and I'm starting to save up now. I know I'll be doing the front motor mount, and full 1 piece clutch line when it does get swapped. Possibly a clutch fork stopper as well.

**Mini update**

Had some free time to mess with my car. I removed the restrictor plate spring thing and also "thinned" my gear fluid with redline MTF.

It has made the gear engagement a lot nicer in the low rpm but still having problems at 7k although it doesn't take as long as before.

This could also be do to the fact its only 18 F outside..

My new Powerflex motor mount is on its way I will give you another update then. ( thanks dbsears for the heads up on the durometers of their products)

If was not the clutch why was I able to shift lightning fast at 7k+ with my stocker?

I don't fully understand the stiff motor mount concept but it works lol

sorry to bring back the dead, i had the same problem as you. over time with the fx300 the pedal would stay closer and closer to the ground to where i could not get in gear. all i would have to do is lift the pedal with my toe and it was fine. to this day i still have no idea why it does that.

Have you tried adjusting the pedal? Or Bleeding the clutch? Some times its nothing to do with the clutch. How many miles do you have? How many Launches?

Best of luck

I have 44k on the clock now I have had the clutch since 38k?

I now have like 7 launches. 6 practice launches to dial in my green and 1 track launch. I am no noob when it comes to tracking my cars.

I have adjusted the clutch a few times, changed my fluid, got a stiffer front motor mount, removed the restrictor pill, bleed it 3 times.

It's a bunk clutch. I ran a 13.8 because I got completely locked out of 4th with a 1.8 60ft

I ran a 13.2 with a 2.2 60ft and 100 less hp. sooo this clutch blows.........

I had road raced a few times and it's OK for that but I also like to drag race and it's worthless for that.

It's one of the best pressure plates I have ever had for the street, but that doesn't help me at the track.

I'm saving for a carbonetic single for next year

I have to disagree, I had this clutch and loved it. it was the smoothest shifting clutch ive had. i could do 7k shift with ease.
thats odd that you have lock out. do you think it could be installation error that cause many act lock outs?

The only thing I could think of is that I used clutchmasters tq specs instead of mitsus on the pressure plate, when i asked they said that had nothing to do with it. This would have to be my 11th clutch install.
