Unhappy need help once more

hey guys i need help and hopefully some answers again. my car started making a ticking noise yesterday i think its the valves mayb the lifters so i ran some valve medic in it and that didnt help then put some seafoam in it also still didnt help. i cant hear the noise at idle i only hear it when im holdin a constant speed in my car and maybe pushing down on the pedal slightly (this happens at any rpms as long as im not pushin the pedal too much) but then when i accelerate more the noise isnt there or maybe the car is too loud for me to hear it. AND also when i accelerate normally i push the pedal slightly it boosts about 5 pounds i can feel the power fine but when i accelerate more to where the turbo is spooling up past 10 psi i feel like something is holding the car back instead of accelerating at the 24 psi like it should so please help!

Possible rod knock? You could drain your oil and see what it looks like. Rod knock will sound like it is coming from the valve cover area. Good luck.

look for sparkly metal in your oil, it sounds like rod knock from what you described.

you could have a boost leak or knock and your ecu is pullin timing.

the thing is that it reaches full boost but it feels like the car is being held back. at 5 psi the car is accelerating fine but once the boost is at peak or on its way there it feels like the power isnt there its tuned at 393 hp

If you are knocking then the car will pull timing automatically if you are on the stock ECU and thus feel like something is "holding it back". Sounds like either a lifter problem or rod knock. Do you have a version of the tehpraMOD and does your CEL flash on knock? Take a log of the problem and log boost, afr, knock sum and timing. Only then can you figure out what is really the issue.

your ecu is pullin timing due to knock i had the same issue with my car due to a loose motor mount. it hit full boost but didnt really pick up speed as it did before.

have your buddy log your car so you know fer sure what it is
