ams shifter bushing help?????

ams shifter bushing help?????

Ok so I'm in quite a predicament. I have Ams solid underhood ****ter bushings and the one that faces the firewall keeps popping the clip off I tried new Mitsubishi clips no luck. Have you guys ever seen this before???

make sure the bushing is pressed in all the way. use a steel wire and run that through it and twist it up so it doesnt pop up if you have to

It does not have a hole their is a groove the clip rides in

that is where you are going wrong. The clip slides through a hole drilled through the pin...

The one that faces the top has a hole but I fantastically find one in the one that faces the firewall

They dont have holes in both, I had these in my car when I had the 6spd in and hated them but the clip should work properly, if not its an installation problem

Yea it is a huge pain almost tile the grooves not big enough

I had to use some sort of funky *** paper clip to get mine to work...
