^ I have heard from many reputable shops that the extension rod from lancershop will actually damage your clutch...

I actually adjusted the engagment point of the pedal closer to the floor just because it was high and the problem has not returned yet. Not saying this fixed it. I actually highly doubt it did anything. I'm starting to think it's more temp/fluid related. It has AMSoil 75w90 in for about 8k miles.

did you check out the master cylinder or throw-out bearing? sometimes gearing it before taking off in the morning helps or even when you let it sit for awhile. try that.

I Got The Same Problem As Well In My 05 Evo VIII.... It's Hard To Put It In First In The Morning Or Reverse.... One Of My Friends Recommended I Run "Royal Purple" In It.... And After Reading Everything From Different Threads... Most Evo Owners Say It's Normal And Then Simply Switched Out The Fluid.... But I Havent Tryed It So I Wouldnt Know Exactly....

You adjusted your pedal wrong. Not close to floor, you have to adjust exactly opposite. even If the height of your pedal bothers you that's just not correct way to adjust your clutch. If you adjust your clutch pedal rod shorter ( low pedal engagement ) you will have lock out issues and furthermore, you will end up destroy your clutch/ trans. It sounds like an engagement problem to me. Adjust your pedal higher and bleed your clutch. It also could be your pressure plate gone bad or possibly your clutch is time to replace even though there's no slippage.
