Blowoff valve causing rough idle?

just had my blowoff valve installed yesterday. HKS racing blowoff valve. Noticed the cars idle is a little bit rough compared to the stock valve. Is this normal?

it's not normal. check for leaks

you cant vent to the atmosphere without fuel management

ie

greddy e-manage or SAFC

Chances are it is the HKS bov, speaking from expereince. If it's not re-circ'ing, change that first. If it still flutters, change the spring tension. If it still idles rough with no leaks, trash it!
