FP Green Install

I am looking for some insight. I am in the navy and have a fairly busy schedule which is the reason I am considering this. I own a 2004 evo 8 with mods as indicated in my signature. I also have an old style evo green-20g-9lt with all of the installation parts needed. I am running stock injectors. I was going to install this turbo since I have the time and run a lower boost than the 25 I am currently at. Whatever I see to suit my injector duty cycles. Is this an okay plan? I dont want to mess up anything and I have talked to fp and they say I should be fine. I also have the older oil feed line which I was told would be fine with the older style green. Is this correct? Any insight would greatly help me.

why not just get bigger injectors? kind of pointless IMO because you're not gonna gain much more power because you will be limited by the injectors and yeah the older oil feed line should be fine for the older green

Just because I am always busy and it would make it easier once I decide to put the injectors in.

if you're gonna do that then just drop the boost to 20psi or so and you should be fine for now I guess

bolt it on and see what duty cycles you get and set the boost accordingly. But i give it a month and you will be hungry for more power and go the injector upgrade and then up the boost.

So if I were to run it for a little while at lower boost I should be fine? Also with the stock ix feed line?

Promise me that you have upgraded your fuel pump, although it is not listed in your modlist.

A little off topic but what is the diff between the old and new Fp oil feed line?

Stock is just a metal line. The first fp line came from the head/stock location. Fp found that at higher boost levels and with their larger journal bearing turbochargers that the best location for oil pressure is the oil filter housin so this is the most up to date location.
