Bending turbo compressor fins

I remember clipping back in my old DSM days. When you ordered a turbo upgrade, in them days it was a 16G, big 16G, or a 20G.

You could ordered it ported and clipped. Clipping ADDS lag as it removes a portion of the exhaust wheel BUT allows for more topend as you further increase the exhaust flow area.

That's it.

Correct. Clipping is typically done to reduce surge and increase topend......
