Just curious woudnt you have to change the rods and pistons, since making that high of a Hp can cause damage to the stock bottom ends?

You should worry more about torque. A rough line of ~450wtq, and it's a good idea to start thinking about the block.

i was mking 515whp on a mustang dyno, so convert that to a dynojet and yea it was a bit.. i ran mine for two years strong without any hiccups. i pulled it out this past weekend for my built motor and the motor was still in great shape.

it really depends on your driving style/tune. a great tune is going to go a long way. my car didnt see THAT many miles as its just a nice day cruiser/track ***** (2000/year).

its just a chance youre willing to take, i didnt care if mine blew up, it survived so its saving me some cash haha

Because it's always cheaper (and wiser) to rebuild the stock engine into something stronger before it breaks. Running considerable power on these engines is always a crapshoot, especially as they accumulate mileage. Some get lucky, others don't, and there are no guarantees. But if you break it, bend over.

Thought you were gonna say your "skydiver" quote in regards to pushing the stock block.
