serpentine tensioner broke

serpentine tensioner broke

hey guys just got my car running after a year and i did the a/c delete and last night i was driving and then i lost power steering and car started getting hot so pulled over and thought i broke the belt come to find out i broke the tensioner so this morning i got a new one and like three hours ago this one broke idk what it could be i am not sure if anyone has heard anything or have ever had this happen to them please help me out thank you ill try to get a pic up soon

I take it that's the pic of the second one you broke.....did the first one break in the same way??

what belt were you using? Are you sure you used the correct sized belt?

yea check the belt size. No a/c should be 57.5" if i remember correctly.
