with numbers like these, it just goes to show ya that the stock bottom end is more than sufficient for 450+hp... good stuff man... that'll be about 3k in internals that I can save

Which A/R exhaust are you running on the GT35R? Does it boost in first?

what are the specs on the GT35r you're using? You mentioned that the R means dual bb, but in fact you can get any GT series turbo with BB. Correct me if im mistaking

The gt35r is just a new version of gt technology. All of the GT turbos are dual bb, although it is possible to have the new style compressor wheels on a 360 bearing chra. The funny thing is that the gt35r is just warming up at those boost levels.

Dyno Dynamics gives some pretty high numbers. I wish I had one closer to me so I can compare my Dynapack numbers with another dyno.

Actually that is NOT correct. In fact most of the new GT series are NOT ball bearing. Only if they end with an R are they ball bearing. THere is a GT25R, GT30R, GT35R only. All the other GT series are all non-ball bearing design. Garrett also makes the larger T51 Kai and SPL in ball bearing versions now.

Please let me know if you are going to Carlsbad. I'll definitely make the trip to see you and your 493hp evo.

Dyno Dynamics , they read much lower then dyno jets and dyno packs. That's the same dyno Vishnu use.

i don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but aren't these GT ballistic turbos next to impossible to rebuild? they're made in aussie land right?

I was under the impression that all of the new stuff falls into the GTxxR nomenclature. That is what i was trying to say. But from what you are saying is that you can just get a new GT35 and it's not duall bb unless you get the GT35R. I knew you could a typical t3/t4 with the GT35 wheels but i didn't think it would still have the gt compressor cover. Am i correct?

From my knowledge, Al is coming this or next month. We have something set up with him and SoCalEvo.net. I'll keep you posted. Check out the forums on SoCalEvo.net.

BTW, are you coming to this Sunday's SoCalEvo.net meet in Pasadena? We'd love to see your turbo kit. I have a lot of guys interested.

So the SAFC tuning has been adequate enough to fight off detonation?

Just curious...
