493 whp at 22-24psi

Went to the dyno yesterday with my new set up. It runs perfect and was feeling pretty god on the way over there. We are currently only using a 2.25" 02 hosuing whch is a huge restriction. We will be changing it to you our of 3" 02 elim downpipe asap. We are still only using a s-afc 2.

It made 493whp on pump/race gas. I really really wanted 500whp, but we ran out of time and I will have to go back alter this week to make the number. We will see what it can do this weekend as I will be running at Carlsbad trying to break the national record of 11.5.

Here are the things I have changed

RnR GT35R Kit, 38mm Tial, equal length SS manifold
720's
head studs

I will also be changing the following things this week hopefully

3" 02 housing
reflashed ECU (8000 rev limit, remove fuel cut, lots of more timing)
272 intake cam
adj. fuel regulator

I honestly believe with these small changes we will be able to make 550whp on pretty much stock motor

stock bottom end
stock head
stock intake manifold
stock TB

I will try and get the dyno sheet up, but it might take a couple days. It is posted up in the shop so any local guys can come by and check it out.

We also will be going back to the dyno later this week to try and crack 500whp with the dynoflash changed only. I am sure it will happen. Then it will be off to the track this weekend. You got to love So Cal. Tracks open year round.

I want to see the torque curve, guys. It ain't all about numbers, it's about useable power...at least for me.

well... I must say if he can do this with a dynoflash it will be testament to Als tuning skills...especially breaking that 550 mark without nitrous...good luck

Pesto lotsa people can reflash the ECU with techcom software. Als business is dynoflash. RnR can do their own tunning- But that manifold looks overly complicated to me

No, the wastegate isn't even that close to the radiator. It just looks like it in the pic. It is from the angle of the camera.

We will run it on 91 octance real soon. We can't get 93 octane in Cali. We are just seeing what the max potential is so far. I suspect 400whp on 91 pump once it's fully tuned.

Also we only did 3-4 dyno runs. It's not like the car is fully tuned yet either.

Actually I really wich Al was coming to Cali. We are just doing a mail-in reflash. So we can raise the rev limiter, remove fuel cut and adding some timing to the map. We are probably only getting 4 degrees currently.

I really wish Al was coming down here, but we will just have to live with the S-AFC for the time being.

Great #s'....the car would have soooo much more potential if the ecu could be flashed on the dyno. But goodluck though.

Are these numbers on an AWD dyno or 2WD?

I know we could have so much more potential if we could tune it on the dyno. I really wish Al could make a trip out here to So Cal. I tempted to just wait on it until he coems out here. We will see.

The numbers were done on a AWD dyno dynamics. So are numbers are even a little more impressive than some of the others shop because we use a AWD dyno for our numbers where it has even more drivetrain loss.
