I just ordered a 2.1l oil question?

i am curious of what oil to brake in the motor with? brand and weight

and when should i switch over to full syn?

ask your engine builder this question. as he knows all the clearances and specs and what fluids will be best. ''or recommended''

A majority of builders recommend a 20w50. Mine rec's Brad Penn 20w50.

Only person who can answer this question safely is the person who assembled the engine.. Only they know how they set the clearances.. Same as when you look in the manual of the car.. Mitsubishi built the engine and tells you weight oil to use for the oem clearances..

partial synthetic. should be fine. i have some valvoline vr1 racing oil if you want to break it in on pure non synthetic ill sell cheap. after break in you should use brad penn 20w50 or something similar. you have to use what the turbo wants pretty much, the motor doesn't give a ****.

Buschur motor right?

yupp BR motor.. i wanted to use non-syn oil or somthing off the start then switch to Amsoil 20-50 full syn after 3,000 miles

HUH?? What do you mean by the motor doesnt give a S**T??? You choose engine pile on a built motor based on what the turbo wants???

pm me if you want this valvoline vr1. ill sell it for $2 a qt its just wasting space in garage. i have 12 quarts of it.

after break in i recommend either brad penn 20w50 or amsoil 20w50 premium

put in autozone oil the motor wont die.. where as the turbo will. thats what i mean.

If its a Buschur motor use brad penn to start off and until the day you sell the car..
