Change Rear Axle Boot

My driver-side Rear axle boot cracked and is leaking all over the inside lip of my rim, Instead of buying the whole axle replacement i bought a direct replacement boot with grease pack from the dealer.

I plan to take it all apart tonight when i get home, I was looking for a direct write up but can't seem to find one in the how to's or on any other website. Is there anything i should look for? Or does anyone know the exact steps to take so i don't waste time removing things i don't need to.

Thanks

I had mine done by turbo trix... They told me you pretty much have to pull the whole axle out off the car. Then disassemble it just to get the damn boot on then reassemble everything.

I was going to do it myself but never got time and just got it done while i had my clutch done. When i searched for info on it most people didnt have a write up or they just said they were just going to leave it ripped... I assume its pretty straight forward once you get the axle out of the diff...

The inner boot has to come off before the outer boot can be installed. You disassemble the tripod, remove inner boot, remove outer boot. Assembly is the reverse.
