I have looked and looked, Anyone have a free diagram or video of a 4g63t teardown and assembly for the Evo 8? Any helpfull hints would be nice thankyou!

 

Dave Buschur posted a video actually of him tearing apart one of his short blocks. You may be able to get some tips from there.

 

I was also wondering if there was any information like this out short of buying a cd manual like diagrams of where each sensor goes on the block and proper timing etc.

 

google is your friend... just about all of that is on the net

 

I would say just buy the service manual cd. It's cheap enough at like $10 on Ebay. Plus it gives you all the torque specs and diagrams you might need.

 

Its not a really hard engine to tear down and put back togather. if you plan on doing it yourself bag and tag everthing so you know where it came from and lable the wire harness to save you time. Also take pics of how things were before you remove them. This will help you out a bunch the first time.
