FP-Black and stock 6-Spd......will it blend?
Beissen - Thanks for the post from FPs site, but FP does not say the sweet spot of the Red is 22-24 psi, rather what it recommends for pump tuning. IMHO (and FPs), if you are going to run 22-24 psi, stick with an HTA Green for a broader power curve.
Actully its the recommned min boost level to operate and its starts to open and that is from Bran the Tech the Black only starts and gets nastier the more its pushed I have see it goto 40psi and become almost undriveable.

Using the 6spd with black makes it a nasty combo due to the short ratio's in the tranny will smack harder..When I had the black it really woke up at 28 psi anything below that was a bit weak you have to remember that it's a stock frame turbo with a small back housing and requires lots of boost to wake it up.
So would all of you 6-spd users with more than 420whp, who have not yet experienced any problems, please stand up and let me know.... so i can sleep better!
How are you using the car?
how much milage so far with that power?
best regards,
Luke

Keep it cooled down and don't drag it to hard meaning dumping the clutch and you will be ok more then likely. It wont take the abuse of a stock 5 speed but it can last if you maintain awareness. But in the end you have to pay to play.
