^Really? I've heard the Invidia has fitment issues, I've never used one though.

The MAP o2 is a copy of the Titek V2 I believe, and that's supposed to be the best o2 on the market. I say go for it.

The Map dump/downpipe looks nice. good thread on the install.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/se...-downpipe.html

Looks like it would also be the time to change from ported to tubular exhaust manifold.

Where in NY are you located?

I had them put one on my car while it was there over the summer, it looks and fits good.

I can't really say anything about it performance wise, I ended up with it to replace the Megan one I had that I broke one of the bolts off in and I never had my car dynod before the changeover.

i have installed 2 map o2 dumps on an evo 8 and evo 9 and the fitment was nothing to talk about. one of the dump tubes was rubbing on the A/C compressor. i have heard this problem from other's too.

I have a map o2 dump on my car and while fitment did require the AC line to be bent out of the way a bit, my boost held awesomely with the dump housing. I had 40psi by 4600-ish rpm and boost only tapered down 1 psi by redline, which on my car is 8500. Yes, I had 38.6psi still at redline. (I believe that was the exact number ) I have zero creep issues and the 2.4/Black combo moves quite a bit of air, especially at that boost level.

At some point there were lots of people complaining about creep issues steve.THis was on a stock motor fp black too but held to much boost up top form the rods to handle on a stock motor with a stock frame hard hitting turbo you sometimes want taper it's different then at3 turbo that hit later rather then right away.

This should be the only slight modification that needs to be made, its simply unavoidable with the way that our dump tube is routed. The intent is to ensure there are no lower intercooler pipe issues like competing products.

That's a pretty bold statement to say it was our o2 housing that caused the engine failure with an FP Black on stock block lol. If you're trying to run an FP Black in the low 20psi range there isn't an o2 housing on the market that isn't going to creep. Ask FP how they feel about an FP Black with an 18psi actuator, that's why they basically force people into the 25psi version its simply not meant to be a low boost turbocharger.

Since we have launched the o2 dump I've heard 2-3 people out of probably 100 claim to have boost creep issues. With that kind of ratio it is my opinion that other parts of those 2-3 setups were the cause of the issue.

Yes its really not that serious of an issue at all by any means.

Yes true but you gotta have the right setup to really make use of the Black safely and to its full potential.
