Thinking of changing out my buschur exhaust
i have magnaflow quiet buschur TBE with 5inch magnaflow at midpipe.... its relatively quiet now but magnaflow midpipe is overplayed, few guy's exaggerated reviews turned it into an ultimate quiet solution.... ultimate solution it is NOT.
if you want a truely quiet exhaust, dump your buschur and look elsewhere....

Its hard to tell how quiet you want it to be. It seems like you just want it live-able but not stock quiet? If you dont have cams then I say get the vt muffler in the rear and sound exactly like stock normal driving and agressive tone at WOT . If you have cams but your idle is smooth then you can risk gambling with the vt muffler. Few had good results with smooth idles, but with lopey idle then forget about it.
Other than that you could try a section at a time. First put a center muffler with your current Bullet rear. If thats not enough then add the magnaflow rear.
my car came with this RSR turbo back exhaust setup lol and it was so loud....... like almost rotary loud. I wanted to sell the car the minute i went WOT lol. So I know how you feel.. when we start to get older we want something alittle less aggressive, starts to get annoying. the cobb i got is great, but WOT still is extremely loud. I dont think you;ll find something that you wont hear a block away with a big setup.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lW0lzGzGqfI is the RSR exhaust LOL. sounded louder then a rotary no joke. Right before I sold it, I looked in there and there was no resonator or no muffler period, just straight 3.5" pipe lol.
Rocks invidia sounds kinda similar to my cobb, i dont know how restrictive either of our setups are though.
Thats just a random youtube video btw, not mine.
