In my brief experience w/ E85 I ran the car down as low as I could stand on pump gas and then filled up with E85. The key is if you have the know how and ability to flash your car w/ new injector scaling/latencies, which I did, and drove an hour to the shop for a tune. I used FIC Bluemax 1250cc injectors and 1 walbro fuel pump for 427hp on a low reading mustang dyno, at 450hp it started to lean out up top and my injector duty cycles were into the 90's, so it was backed down a bit.

ya dude.. once you hit around 34-35psi its like a road block.. you're ****ed and it aint giving anymore power remember my car was maxed at 522whp at cbrd which is like 584whp dynojet and look where hes bottlenecked.. the same HP almost. remember my dyno thread? the perrin inlets are literally under 2.0" in diameter.

remember this?

Be glad you got a good FMIC from the start

i went from 584whp @ 39psi to 655whp @ 40psi. big *** difference the FMIC made with tuning adjustments.

ya big time man. endtanks are so important when flowing tons of air. the perrin is a weird fmic, just a quick glance at it with couplers over the inlets it can look under estimating.. the inlets looked 3" once the couplers were on then when i took it off and see there was so much casting thickness i was like

It came with the car so its not my fault or is it? I didnt know any better at the time i guess. But im sure i saved a bunch of people on the forum from the same issue with the picture i took and stuff.

now if you dont plan on running past 35psi or so the perrins a great FMIC, because with all that restrictive area, it will make your response faster vs a bigger fmic for sure.

which reminds me i need to put ti in the for sale section. gonna ask $350 for it.

not a bad price for it lol 40 psi huh. so what is your car set at right now 40 psi 655 for the 590 in your sig. Yea i remember that thread well as you pmed me after your tuning trip as you were upset about basically wasting time to have it do that to ya but you live and learn. All i know is long as i can get my 600 with what i have im cool and ill be extremely proud of my setup. and you said injen pipes could not make power. Not using the licp of course its custom darn 3" fp race pipe LOL but more flow according to them.

actually all those videos on youtube are with my own tune before i even went there. i detuned my car and threw on base maps to see what the other guy could do.. wasn't a waste of $ to me, i enjoyed it and had fun. but it was very expensive yes.

590 in my sig my car did that with wastegate pressure (25psi creeping to 29psi). right now its at 31psi, and the HP stayed at 590 but the torque increased to 500. so right now its 590/500 @ 31psi. I suspect at 40psi on this engine since it has slightly better ring seal that ill get around 670-680 at 40-42psi. I dont know when im gonna turn it up that high, probably in the summer time. im gonna keep it where it is now because its plenty for me.

I'll throw it on a dyno at full force and see what it is, but for now im happy with it at the 31psi, and your car will feel like a rocket at this power because you arent even used to a lot of power.. keep in mind i actually felt 655whp in my car and im telling you 590whp is plenty lol.. so when you first floor your car you're in for a big surprise. just be careful with it, these evos are easy to wreck.. awd or not. mine was dangerous before i did suspension upgrades.
