I know you adj. the cam gears to 3.75 but do you advance or retard it?

im going to use a stock timing belt " 2.0L" and stretch it

is there anything im missing in doing this "U line every top dead center"

In your case it will be both intake and exhaust cam gears. And you retard it 3.75. And don't get confused when doing this. Once you loosen the bolts rotate the cam itself counter clockwise. Some cam gears can be confusing. I've seen it messed up on a couple cars.

And I know on mine, both I&E cam gears are 1/2 tooth off. And runs great.

And don't run the 2.0 belt. Can't remember the part number off thetop of my head but get the right one. PM RockmanX. I know he has a pick of his with part number on it. Only like a $50 belt.

Haaa and you know it. I personally say use the proper belt yes you can use the 4g63 belt with stretching etc. I rather just get a belt that fits first time and move on to next step in the build again thats just my opinion.
