FMU for e85?
FMU for e85?
I was just thinking about how lots of people use to use FMU's back in the day on cheap turbo'd cars instead of getting something to tune with. Well say you want to go e85 but dont have big injectors if you got a FMU And had it tuned for the FMU the injectors could support same max power on e85(or more depending on the ratio) as they would on 93 without the FMU. Yes I know its not the "proper" way to do it but I was gonna try this on a side turbo project Im gonna do and dont wanna drop money on injectors as its just a beater

You're missing out on a fundamental requirement for E85: 30% more E85 is needed than gasoline for the same power levels, let alone at the higher boost levels that E85 can support. Stock injectors cannot supply the necessary fuel.
