U don't just need a crank, u need a new engine builder. If u build yur own, sorry, stick to suspension mods and pay someone who has had high success rate with high power EVO motors. This many failures is insane. What's the definition of insanity?

I know right a new machine shop is building this one this is the first failure not the same as all the others. It was number 4 cylinder that spun I take the car to like 8500-9000 I keep 5 qrts of brad pen 20w50 in the car. I am just wondering if someone is overlooking or if this machine shop is building it with factory oil clearances and if that is good or bad for a motor with this much power and rpm just would like some input from some people that would really help me out I want to race the car this is why I miss the shootout this year

I've always built my motors with slightly looser tolerances then factory. If your shop insists inn using oem specs I'd find another.

for 800whp +/- 100whp i would stick with the following.

rods and mains .002"-.0025"

top and mid rings .020"-.022"

pistons, depends on who made them, but generally .0045"-.0055".
