By you saying all turbos were tested in the same manner @ 3000rpm, you are basically implying that the GT30 and S200 built-up virtually zero boost under load...
The tests where the same so that is how they are when you compare to the efr.

That's a strange result. I've done a similar test on an old school T350/GT35 setup on a dynapak. That old *** turbo that gets killed by a standard GT3582R still managed to make 20+ psi LONG before 4000 RPM. I have a very hard time believing a GT3076R didn't show full boost until 4700 RPM in that situation.

You guys are rediculouse. For months i've been watching this thread, and all anyone has been saying is, "I want to see results" or "I dont believe the hype because there's no data". Now that some one actually post some results and it performs like Geoff has been telling everyone it would, now everyone wants to shoot it down and claim theres no way it performed that well. You got results, now either buy an EFR and see for yourself or move on to something else. Stop making accusations of faulty dyno runs.

Fair comment, however we are allowed to question the results...
Not implying anything negative...

Here's the thing, I've tuned many cars, and I've seen much earlier spool characteristics from the comparative turbos listed, and with less load applied!

Just trying to make sense of it all...

I don't think its weird at all for people to question results showing a known quantity... a generic Garrett 3076R spooling that slowly. Maybe the EFR is great, but when the thing its being compared to is so out of whack its awfully hard to tell. That isn't people "shooting it down", its common sense to ask questions about what is causing the discrepancy.

I agree, that is a strange test result. Might have to see about funding a more conventional dyno run for the car. However, the big question now is: how long will the turbo last?

Very true. Its not what i would have expected but all I'm saying is that this guys put in the time to give us that long awaited (and long overdue) data and then when it came down to it, everyone wanted to question his methods. I dont think that theres anything wrong with questioning dyno results. There are so many different dynos and pretty much everyone will tell you something different, I guess it just seemed to me like everyone wanted to tell this guy whats up, when hes the one providing data on something no one else has been willing to

Dowski, I think the EFR has already proven what they can do at this point. Break. Several of them have done it.

IMO, they have gone from "living up to the hype" to "getting rid of a bad reputation" at this point.

Also, just my opinion, I think they will get the kinks worked out and they will prove to work well in the end. Take how that statement above sounds with a grain of salt.

Also, that dynochart...Like I said, I've managed to have a GT35ish turbo in a 0.82 A/R housing on a 2.0L reach full boost before 4000 RPM in similar testing. For a TWINSCROLL GT3076R to show 4700 RPM...something strange is going on.

Just another data point, just like his dynochart.
