No point comparing to old tech...new tech would be cool comparison.
Including Precision and FP HTA Garrett variants
Unless you count the 40 year old turbine design.

No results yet on his personal Evo. Did you find the posts on NASIOC?

Sorry it has its own thread:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2640508

The last dyno plot in the first post compares 7163 SS to 7163 TS. And I believe there is commentary later in the thread about the difference in transient response.

Is the 7163 outline interchangable with the 6258 and 6758?

seen that before. thats an STI

Sean Glazer is an old school dsmer. he now has a evo9 with 7163. I am waiting to see those dyno results. the 550 made on STI is good but I want to see 4g63 results.

found this tonight on a cobalt ss. EFR6758 made 540/531 on stock 2.0! impressive

I'm not aware of any Evo 9 results. Thought you meant the STi.

Hard to believe the Cobalt results, but it is different platform that perhaps has better VE than an Evo.

The 6758 we just got done installing (on a Subaru unfortunately) here at the shop has an aluminum CHRA. The turbo is crazy light.

I think I found something you guys might like. It's a roll on vid of twin 7163's on a GTR. It's difficult to show transient response on a dyno chart, and anecdotal evidence never really gets the point across either. So check out this vid, I think it shows what means to have good transient response.

I called full race, they said BW will be releasing a super core (basically the whole turbo except the turbine housing) 8374 with the aluminum CHRA early next year.

What's the advantage of the Supercore EFR8374 over current setup?

So no EFR7163 results yet?
The Evo 9, any data?

Wonder how it would work on a 2.0 on pump fuel?
Would it spool like Stock E9 with power of GT30?
