I´m rebuilding my gearbox due to previous owner abuse, and got stuck on the 1st/2nd synchros. According to ASA, the right part is MR581432 but everybody kept telling me to buy MR581385, and so I did. But that was the wrong part.

My Evo VII stock synchro is on the left, and the new ones (MR581435) on the right. Any clues on the right part number? Thanks in advance!!

When I just looked it up it says everything from 12/2002 and down should be the MR581432 like you came up with. I saw the old part number then it crosses to the 581432 now. Not too many 7s floating around so I am no better than what you already have

These are the parts that fit my 2001 EDM Evo VII GSR, with the right number for the 1st/2nd synchros. I tested fit everything, except 1st/2nd synchro, wich I´ll have to buy again since I bought the wrong ones (MR581385).

1/2 sync spring - MR581387
1/2 sleeve - MR581384

3rd ring assy - MD770348
4th ring - MD748058
3/4 sync spring - MR581389
3/4 sleeve - MR581388

5th ring - MR581382
rev ring - MN168936
5/R sync spring - MR581383
5/R sleev - MN168859

rev gear - MD749430

Hi all,

I'm using an evo IV RS gearbox w/ part no. MD975148 and code: W5M511Z6A1 w/ final drive ratio of 4.875.
I hv gritting between 1 and 2 & 3 and 4.
Can someone point me to where I can get the replacement stuff to fix my problem.
Also, which of the above part numbers would be corresponding to mine?

LCS,

I'll be taking down the box this weekend and taking some pics (don't know if that will help) for clarity.
I prefer to get the whole set to do the repair, as in, set 1 (1st to 2nd), set 2 (3rd to 4th) and set 3 (5th and R).
Do these sets have a number or I have to request quote for individual numbers like what you have given me.

My mechanic also says that I need to get the hub for the sleeve. Would this be another numbered item.
