FPGreen external waste gate

I have an IX MR with an FP green turbo. I am wanting to go with an external wastegate. My problem is that I've searched the forums and the web trying to find an exaust manifold with a flange on it to match my turbo. The ones I have found don't have the flange for the wastegate. I don't think that the FP has a T3 flange on it. So if anybody has done this type of setup please let me know how you did it. If this doesn't make since, sorry. I'm very new and this is my first post.

if your doing it for the sound, you can get an 02 dump down pipe. also im not to familiar with the ewg on evos, but on subies they run through the exaust ( down pipe or what pipe i forgot wtf they call it) and not the header.

Geen is internal wastegate if you wanted to run a external setup you would have to weld internal flapper and get a flange welded on manifold for external gate. There is no reason to run a external gate the internal is fine if just for sound get a o2 dump.

Thanks guys. The reason is I'm getting boost creep. I'm running 20 lbs, but wanting to install water/meth. Figured I should go ewg.

What he said maps downpipe combo is the real deal for most setups.

Maps set-up is not the real deal. This has been done in the past but to be honest with you the work doesn't really outweigh the gains. If you are one of those guys who enjoys doing something different and to have a unique part then send me a pm and I will give you details on what to do.

ETS has a really nice dual-flanged 16G header. Of course you'd need to run two remote gates.

FYI, There have been a few one-off attempts at flanging manifolds at the collector where all four runners merge. However, most of the solutions that I know of for the 16G are post turbine housing such as the MAP and all of the external dump O2 housings.

You shouldn't really need an external gate on a basically stock setup with a Green. The Green with a 10.5 housing is slower spooling than a stock IX turbo. Maybe you should try porting the wastegate bypass port in the turbine housing before opting for really complex solutions IMO.

I am not too partial to welding the flapper valve shut either. I just don't see a need for it as a practical matter.

Why would you need a T3 flange for a Green?

I don't, it has the stock IX flange on it. The problem was all of the manifolds had the T3 on them.

There is no reason to get an EWG on an FP Green. You said you need the EWG because you are having boost creep, but how are you controlling boost ? What WGA do you have ? How have you adjusted the WGA turnbuckle ?

If you are going to add meth injection there is less reason to go EWG. Whats the minimum boost you are able to run? What is the minimum boost you want to run? The only off the shelf "ideal" solution is the dual wg manifold ETS sells that allows twinscroll and external wastegates. I would say unless you are shooting for some world record for power or you cant run low enough boost to keep your motor together you dont need the external wastegate.
