Are you getting boost creep or boost spike? Is it hitting more than 20 psi then backing down or holding 20 psi then creeping upwards. 20 psi is really low for an FP green. I think my IX was pushing 22 from the factory. Why are you trying to set the boost so low?

I don't exactly know which WGA I have. It was on the car when I bought it. The car is tuned for 20 psi however it will not stop there. In first and second gears on a hard pull, boost goes right to 20 psi and holds. On longer gears like third it hits 20 and keeps climbing. I'm getting tired of dealing with this problem so assumed an EWG would do the trick. I don't know what a WGA turnbuckle is, and I don't mean to sound retarded, but answers will have to broken down Barney style.

The turnbuckle is the long threaded adjustment rod on the actuator.

How much higher is boost going? Higher gears will boost higher, as there is more load on the engine.

20psi is nothing on these cars. IIRC thats stock!

Batty makes sense here. If you are going to run pump/meth then you'll be able to run 30# of boost. So, you can set boost at 23# and creep up to 30# with no problem on the stock internal gate.

Well currently right now my car is getting an external 44mm put on it. Should be at the dyno later today. I'll let you know how it does. I have a dump but I'm doing the external to try and hold more boost out the top.

Well I can tell my looking at the pic that Spark removed the flapper and more than likely enlarged the holes a bit to allow the exhaust gases to flow better to the external allowing the external to be very efficient at controlling boost.

Spark, now you just need a 3" o2 housing!
