haha thanks ya nothing like doing things yourself w/ help of friends!

hope to have it dropped in a started next weekend when i get back from vegas lol hopefully i make some monies!!

Nice build Im thinking of getting a 2.4 as well but whats the difference between a 2.4 lr and a 2.4 rr?

long rod setup uses 6mm longer rods than normal and "custom" pistons that move the wrist pin up to accomodate i believe a lil more torque and better rod angles are the pros of the long rod

is he meaning

Std 2.4 vs LR2.4?? they both will make the same power output but one in theory should last longer and can rev higher being Long rod. Better then buying the AMS 2.3RR. I just wish it was not so expensive to do a complete longblock build in general.

To the op why not get some better cams?? Also what intake manifold T/b you going with and what turbo did you decide on?

OP: your build like very similar to mine except it looks like you went with H beams (same ones Aaron is running) and Manley 10:1? Why did you go H Beams and Manley? I really like the Wiseco HD design... Interesting and very excited to see this hit the dyno when it's all put together! Good luck

and i originally went w/ wiseco but they were not in stock at awd motorsports so he had these custom made for me and he covered the cost difference.. i cant copy everyone lol well see what goes down dont see why they wouldn't work well together
