Hard to pull out of 6 gear

I noticed today that i have a hard time pulling it out of six gear it takes a lot of effort and when it come out im putting the shifter into fifth gear. Tried doing it manually at the trans and that even takes alot of effort. and ideas every other gear works fine. When trying to pull out of 6th and try to go into anyother gear it doesnt want to and i have to play with it a lot. Any ideas

if it is cold were you live, at first might be hard bec tran's fuild might be cold.

ur in FL so doubt that is the problem.

Make sure your clutch is fully in before shifting out of the gear

or change the fuild

Check the under hood rubber shifter bushings and linkage for damage.

when u shifted it at the trans did u disconnect the linkage? It could be ur linkage as stated. Disconnect the linkage and then shift it at the trans. How does your fluid look? Have u changed it recently?

^ if you do this and come to find its the linkage I have a spare 6spd linkage just collecting dust from my 5spd swap if you want.
