will i be ok if im making around 350 hp and my 3rd gear grinds once in awhile? is my clutch gonna start slipping?

 

My DSM is doing the same problem in 3rd & 4th. I also just drove an 03 EVO 8 and it felt a bit notchy in 3rd as well and it only has 44K miles, it's just a common thing for these cars. Just either rebuild it or get a shep trans.

 

When I bought my '06 in '09 it was grinding. Took it to mitsubishi and they replaced the gear, syncro, and slider under warranty. Just an option if your car does not have a whole lot of Mods.
