JIC Titanium/SS Exhaust vs. Buschur
JIC Titanium/SS Exhaust vs. Buschur
i am trying to decide between these two exhausts and was wondering if i could get some opinions from people on the board thave had experience. as for performance, are both going to provide similar numbers? which one would be better? also since the JIC has a titanium muffler, how much weight would be saved compared to Buschur? please provide helpful information. thanks!
I will let the guys here give their opinions. I just want to give a couple of facts if you don't mind. Hell I post them every other time I type, so you probably already know them! haha
Our complete 3" system weighs in at only 23 pounds for the EVO.
The muffler is 4 pounds. (This is the lightweight one that is louder than the optional Magnaflow) Magnaflow weighs in at 7 pounds. If you wanted the quieter system with the Magnaflow the HP would probably stay the same and the weight would be 26 pounds for the entire 3" system.
One last thing, through the first of the year we are selling the entire JDM style system for $695.
Cost vs. what weight difference there is=call us! haha
Thanks for atleast considering us.

David...do you have ANY dyno sheets on the difference between both of your systems, one with the usual exhaust can and the other with the Magnaflow on the exact same EVO...totally stock? I would love to see the honest to God difference.
No, I sure don't. As a matter of fact if you check out our website you will see there is a huge difference between the Stage 1 and Stage 2 numbers. It is because the initial numbers we put up were with a pre-production 3" dp into a 2.5" system from there back and no AFC.
I haven't dyno'd the car in actual Stage 1 with our production parts.

well you'd get more power out of the buschur than the jic, you can tell this by looking at it. buschur is 3inches all the way with no resonator. jic has a 2.5 inch flange to meet up with the stock cat (although with the SS piping models you could shop that off and put on a 3inch flange) and has a resonator in it part way down. having said i'm going with jic cuz it looks and sounds better.
well your wrong about one thing, jic has the resonator as a option its not on all of them = ) but yea what he said about the cat is true anywho their both awsome exhaust systems = )
