aftermarket intake manifold and pcv system?
aftermarket intake manifold and pcv system?
searched and couldn't find anything .. how are people routing their pcv system? / catch can? or does it really need used? currently all i have left are the 2 spots on the vc.. pcv valve and breather port... should i just connect the 2 to a catch can?
Most people just connect them to catch cans, though I prefer to run each breather line through a catch filter then back to the intake and intake manifold to keep a vacuum in the crankcase. Ive had better luck with seals not leaking this way.
I have a catch can setup like this:
valve cover-->catch can-->PCV-->intake manifold
valve cover-->catch can-->intake pipe
I get about 3-5 ml of blow-by in the intake manifold side catch can by every oil change (3500 miles of DD). I barely get any from the intake pipe.
