can you use the pcv nipple on the intake manifold for a boost signal?

can you use the pcv nipple on the intake manifold for a boost signal?
just wondering if the pcv nipple on the intake manifold can be utilized as a boost signal source. was going to cap it, but figured i could use that port for something useful since i will be running VTA catch cans.
