I had the black its a great turbo, for all kinds of driving.
my new set up consists of a hta3586. if your gonna drag the 6262 its a great turbo. the tourque on the black can be hard on the stock block

I say whatever you get the best deal on they will both make great power

since the black is a stock replacement its cheaper to do since you dont need an entire kit

i never had problems with the black....but the bb in a 35r turbo should last you longer.

I guess im not making this decision any easier haha

I had the red before its very similar makes a little less power but also has less lag. You can probally find one pretty cheap

I've got a gt35 bb a stock block setup......perfect for what you want to do! laggy on the street but the power hits like Mike Tyson after 5000 rpm. But the FP black (from what i've read) is a close swap to the OEM turbo and has similar power output. If I had to do it all over, I'd go with a Black and spend the money saved on some supporting modes (CAMs, IC piping, COP, etc).

Quick Reply: what better GT35R BB or Fp black?
