hmm thanks for the pic! although i sold it not too long after this thread was started. it seems like you have alot of space there. on my car it looked like the valve would hit the fan shroud if i were to position it the way you have it.

 

Yeah it actually has a bit of space, the trick was to rotate the intake tube. I actually called Synapse and the tech walked me through it (his personal was an evo)
