Engine Mount kit reviews

I'm curious to know, as I've seen a couples kits out there. 3 or 4 pieces... I would like reviews from members. Either you have 5 speed or 6.. daily driver, dragster or do lapping.. So I'm really looking for hands on experience or Technical review.

What do you have, or want, or recommend. and so on...

These are the ones I've seen so far.

- Torque Solution
- Avid
- Ams
- Blox

Thanks in advance.

torque solution is kinda nice... Pretty much all of the solid mounts are good, if that's what you want. I like the torque's cuz they fit like they are supposed to. Blox tends to be off a little. my personal opinion.. And I've run both

I have all the torque solutions motor mounts on my car (except for the front which is a blox I got 2 years ago). They are AWESOME. Perfect fitment, nice and light. Not only do they perform very well, they are sexy too

I also run their driveshaft bushings and shifter bushings. Great products.

Notice any increased vibration on the car? Is it still "streetable" or would you consider it to be a harsh ride now?

The cabin does vibrate a little bit more. Mostly just at idle it seems like. Still 100% streetable and comfortable in my book

I had the Avid mounts in my car. I hated them. I felt like I was back in my Honda days. I drove a friends car with stock mounts and a Buschur lightweight front cross member and felt at home again. Needless to say, that's what I switched back to.

I use the Torque Solution 3 piece set , I decided not to use the rear one because it rattles to much . The 3 piece set is perfect for DD,track or whatever you are doing with your evo.

thats strange because supposedly avid mounts are suppose to be one of the softest aftermarket ones out there......
