Axel back-Exhaust question?
I will be getting a reflash here soon, and have heard that a axel back, which I have on order will drop your boost a couple PSI.
Does this also happen with a cat back system?
I believe that you gian power with both exhaust mods, but I dont really care to have the boost drop. Would I be better off just getting the reflash and skip the exhaust for now so I dont have this situation. Also I dont really wont to get a boost controlled, and boost gague as of now.
Thanks for your ideas!

You asked the same question yesterday and the answer is the same today my friend. Myself and others with the P2 and Exhale are running 19.5 psi all the way to the rev limiter (7800 RPM), there is no lost boost with the WORKS P2 reflash and the Exhale AB.

I have the reflash and Exhale and I have lost about 1 pound of boost. And sometimes I can swear I still hit 19. Get the flash and see how it feels before adding exhaust parts. Then get your exhaust bolted on get a guage at the same time to see what really is going on. You will not feel 1 lb of boost loss.
Lets be specific (and honest) SinCity, you have the econo DynoFlash, NOT the WORKS P2 flash. As I said above, the WORKS P2 suffers no lost boost with a muffler delete or any other exhaust components.
Like I said in the original thread, this appears to be a big difference in the two flashes and again I would recommend that the original poster start talking to the right people and not make a wrong decision based on opinions of those that aren’t using the same product.

It's not the friggin software that causes a loss of boost! It's the restrictiveness (that is the lack of restrictiveness) in the exhaust system. For example, Buschur's muffler delete pipe is so "free flowing" that it causes a 3 psi boost drop on a STOCK car (a car that has not been flashed). It INCREAES the hp of the car.
Boost drop is solved by a $50 boost controller (EBC if you've got the cabbage), and the reflash is *(intended to hold a set boost to red line; in the case of Dynoflash).
IMO WORKS is overpriced - along the lines of VISHNU stuff. Ultimately, it's your dollar - spend it how you want. Better yet, ask the VENDORS about their products b/c as mentioned previously there is alot of misinformation posted about these things.

You’re the one spouting mis-information, you’re the one that stated that ANY reflashed car will lose boost with an AB and not only the vender (David) but an end user responded with the truth and YOU don’t like it.
