hmmmm did you torque down the clutch to the proper specs with the line up tool? See if the car goes into gear with the car cut off, if yes, then that your problem the clutch is loose and mis-aligned.

Also try bleeding the air out of the clutch line or maybe even a bad leaking slave cylinder.

Process of elimination is the key, do the easiest one first before you jump deeper.

isn't a triple plate a bit overkill? you must be pushin enormous amounts of power... did you replace the throw out bearing... did you use the right type of TOB.

and you're a fibber... if you did EVERYTHING right... it would work. lol... best of luck bro sorry i had to poke a lil fun.

Me personally, if the car goes into gear when the car is off. I would lean towards a mis-aligned clutch or the pressure plate was not torque down correctly. Once the car cranks up and the crank is in action. The vibration will shift the clutch disc and will make you not be able to put the car in gear when started. That's all I can think of as what I have mentioned lol.

did you remember to push the clutch fork back so the throw out bearing latches onto the wedge collar? lol.

make sure the wedge collar is squared away...I had the same thing happen to me. the collar was there in the pressure plate but the snap ring on the back had fallen off and therefor not operating properly...with the car off, you could obviously run through the gears but IIRC I was not able to clutch in and start the car...

Do you think I have to adjust the pedal ? Is that why its not engaging?

Do you mean you just disengaged the throwout bearing from the clutch by prying it off and then resnapped it back on by pushing the fork into it again? Did you use an allignment tool when you tightened the clutch up? Only other thing I can think of is a bad slave or one of the discs is backwards or something goofy. You would know if the slave is bad as the section of the resovoir reserved for the clutch would be empty.

I guess you can check the slave by having somebody push the clutch and watch your fork. Also when you push in the clutch you should hear a pretty loud rattle from the plates moving around. Like marbles in a tin can. Maybe the hub is on backwards? I can't remember if you can even do that heh, but I vaguely remember it being tricky to figure out which way to put it in.

No the disk are in right all the disk t/m side are facing the trans and the resovoir is full its not a leak. The clutch cylinder pin pushes the clutch fork forward if the cylinder was bad would it push it at all? any other ideas? Thanks

If the cylinder was bad you would press the pedal and it would just sit on the floor or if it was starting to go bad you would have to pry the pedal back up to engage the fork again. I had mine go bad and before it died I had the problem where sometimes the pedal would go to the floor and just stay there until I pryed it back up, then it would work again for awhile. When it finally took a dump the pedal just went to the floor and it didn't matter if I pulled it back up or not.

Remembering that now, I doubt that is your issue. Probably something with your clutch install. The only way to confirm would be to pull your tranny off again and take pictures to show people how it is installed. That is a PITA obviously, but might be your only option.

This will be the forth time in a week taking it off I can get it out in 45 mins now lol. I know my cylinder isnt bad and the clutch fork isnt bent. When the car is on and I go to push in the clutch the pedal viberates its confusing me. I can take picture but I know the install is right I had papers faxed to me from two different well known shops on how to install. Has anyone eles had this problem before? I have to forse the car in third gear and it won't go in any other gear half the time it doesn't go into third.
