Called exedy they are saying something is probably warped. So I'm taking it out next week and sending it to them so I'll post something up when they call me

 

Should the friction disc gaps be aligned all in a row or staggered? If staggered, how much by equal amounts or?

Just wondering because I know I read somewhere on the exedy site that should be staggered (gaps not inline) but I see pics of the clutches out of the box and some have em lined up, mine werent.

Let us know what Exedy says whats up with your clutch, I got the same issue, I just replaced it but want to know what the deal is since it seems to be Very common...

I had the problem and didnt have time to mess around so I just bought a new one and it's been fine so far (knocks on wood). I still have my old one I plan on selling when I get some pics. I would like to send it to Exedy just to see what they say if its warped plates or what....

I never heard of the reason that is on #29 before, it makes sense in a way but mine only happened after a good pull and the heat mustve warped a plate and made it drag....Did your start doing it after racing or something?
