where has the "lope" gone to

Im having an issue. Nothing serious just irritating. I drive an 03 evo 8 and it has hks 272s. The car has idled with a lope ever since I got it and I love the sound however here recently the lope has completely vanished. I haven't changed anything in my setup. Today I changed my oil and it was almost at 1k over needing changed due to working long hours and not having time. The lope came back for maybe 5 minutes and is gone again. Could this be due to the weather warming up? Last summer and spring it seemed like it loped even harder tho. The only other issue I can think of that may cause this is I have a cel for my rear o2 sensor from having a test pipe and maybe the rich condition is affecting it? I want the lope back

It could be the fueling. Mine loped when i got it too and just went away so what i did was lower the timing to no lwer than 5deg from0-60 load in the 500-1000 rpm range. And check for vac leaks. But every car is different. Hope it helps.

i see the other thread about you getting low boost. my guess is they are related. boost leak the motor and check your boost sol. to make sure its pluged in and has power.

I was starting to think the same thing. If im running an ebc wouldn the stock boost solenoid be blocked off? I got the car and it was already on.
