Installing an exedy twin disk rebuild?
Ok so i ordered my rebuild for my twin disk...
But im installing it with my friends at their shop...and was wondering what else do i need?
By this im meaning do i need parts that arent from exedy? or can i just drop the tranny and put the new rebuild in and be done with it? (im hoping thats the case here)...

also wondering after the rebuild is in...is there like a break in period? or can it be driven?
thanks!

You're going to need to resurface the flywheel and have the legs machines down as well (any machine shop should already know this and tell you the same thing.
You're intermediate plates will need to be checked for straightness and replaced if not straight.
Both my plates were warped and needed replacing... around 500 bucks from MAP.
I will not be rebuilding this clutch again, too damn expensive. Clutch cost 1400 and rebuild was 1050... wtf lol.
My input on the install, if you're doing it on a lift it shouldn't be too bad.
I did mine in my garage and ended up removing the subframe to make getting the tranny in and out easier.

like building your stock 2L but reusing the water pump and oil pump cuz they "work", you can but thats retarded.
Do the throwout bearing now. Its what $50 or something like that? If you get this new clutch in and find out a little later down the road the TOB is bad its just going to cost you more later because you will have to remove the trans again to replace it.

ill be sure to break it in with a minimum of a 500 mile break in.
i ordered my new throw-out bearing...
and looking into a clutch fork stop...i might try to make my own...but we'll see how that goes.

I made my own. Took me a while to get all the dimensions correct but it works.
