The whole .3 miles difference doesn't mater after you run 26.

If I had to run another .3 it probably would've been the difference between me finishing and not finishing. Anyway back on topic.

Add WHP until hole in block, then back off 1/2 turn.

These motors been proven to handle 600+ on the stock block. Horse power rarely blows motors, it's usually detonation. In almost ALL cases detonation is the root cause of failure. Which is heavily influenced by the tuner. Detonation psi levels easily exceed normal cylinder psi by a factor of 3-5x. This causes most if not all the damage.

On a clean running motor not leaning out or detonation I would say they can handle 650-700whp.

From the looks of it... people get up to around 600+whp on the stock block safely... It's all in the tune and the condition of the parts. And of course MAINTENENCE

Torque is the main killer... keep it below 400wtq if you want to be extra safe... I've seen 450 though

he doesn't want to break any thing his drive-train stock 350 is perfect for everything except drag then u will need high horse power numbers and i don't recommend stock parts for drag do things the right way and reap the right rewards.
