Arrow Stock Internals. Max out WHP.

I'm rebuilding my Evo due to spun rod bearing.

The head is fine. Just the short block and small stuff will be rebuilt.

My question is, about how much WHP will a stock motors internals hold?
What would be the best to accomplish 450whp.

I know this is a very odd question since there may be so many differences for question 2, but just trying to eyeball what route will be best to take.

Please, no smart *** comments. I'm here for the knowledge.

I believe torque is more of an issue than power. From what I can gather, keep below ~380 wtq.

It is the torque. I have heard its around 410-420 to stay under and you motor will be happy for many miles to come!

Personally I would keep the torque under 400. There are a lot of people doing it including myself but it is a risk we all take, knowing the consequences. Then you ask yourself if you want mustang dyno numbers or dynojet...mustang will take more effort on your part because they read lower then dynojets.

Umm so 450whp will be maxing it out sounds like.

What could be the small things that I can replace to help it out so more. This will be my daily and I will spend the extra to have it reliable. Want to do the right things, but def don't want to drop $4k on a forged/stroker motor.

Can, but trying to stay away from that right now.

At 450whp, the torque should be around that area. So that's what I meant by maxing out. Should of been more specific, Sorry.

EDIT: nvm, by the looks of that dyno, it looks like I should be fine on torque.

btw also if your rebuilding it i would recommend just doing the job now and BUILD the motor. Its not worth the extra money your going to spend later.

450 on stroked motor will probably be easiest but just as reliable. But the rods are the week point. I made 435 on stock motor, turbo, and now with cams and turbo I am making A LOT more and I am still stock bottom end.
