HELP: IS A Evo 8 5 speed Trans TB/TB Fork Same as Evo 8 6 speed?
Hey guys this might be a newbie question but i want to ask.
I have a car that im putting a evo 8 mr 6 speed trans. Perviously the 6 speed trans had a Quarter master clutch with Hydro Throwout bearing.
Normally on a evo 8 5 speed trans, when adding a Hydro TB you remove the OEM TB and shifter fork for the TB.
My Question is, is the 6 speed assembly for the TB the same as a 5 speed?
Meaning can i take the fork/spring/rod/TB out of my 5 speed and put it into my 6 speed so i can reuse a stock TB in the 6 speed???
LMK GUYS THANks

newbie question? no.. smart to ask? yes..... never hurts to be safe then sorry. i just cross referenced the 6 speed vs the 5 speed setup for you through my parts program and they are both the same clutch fork, throw out bearing assembly etc.. so you should be good to go.
