any drawback to cams

just a question...........................for instance, there is a GSX in this months superstreet i think that gets 22MPG on the highway and probably has around 550WHP..........nice

I know... I would imagine you would lose a few MPG as you're essentially keeping the valves open longer and they're lifting higher. As the cams get bigger and lumpier, you'll obviously lose more.

I believe the 264s are relatively mild so I wouldn't worry about it.

264 are great for a daily driver, another choice is 264/272 combo

Don't the JUN cams have a higher lift as well as a different lobe separation angle compared to the HKS?

If you do not boost, then your mialge is unaffected, once you boost, your ENgine just sucks teh fuel down.
